Races canceled for Dec. 7

We understand that this may not be a popular decision, but we hope our members and the nominated drivers will appreciate that, after careful consideration, we believe it is in the best interest of everyone involved.

Given the forecast for rain at Alexandra on Saturday, with 10-20mm expected, we don't believe we can run a race meeting or deliver a quality track under these conditions. In light of this, we feel it's better to make this decision now, so drivers have the opportunity to visit other tracks and get their speedway fix.

Additionally, with track preparation scheduled for tomorrow night and more rain expected, it only further compounds our challenge. We are committed to providing a great track experience and being fair to both the drivers and the committee, and after assessing the upcoming conditions, we feel canceling early is the best
course of action.
